About Us

Hello! Welcome to my website. I am Sandra and I will show you the different side of the world through my point of view. I have bessen taking pictures and showing it to the world for a long period of time. I want people to realize how vast the universe is and encourage them to also explore and find the joy that I had also found while I am traveling and taking pictures.

While it cannot be denied that the industry of travel photography is kind of hard to deal with, if you are trying to make a livelihood out of it, I can help you to further enhance your photography skills. I post blogs and articles about the places that I’ve been to so that you will have an idea on what’s waiting for you when you decide to go there too.

I also provide guidelines for beginners in photography because let’s face it—photography isn’t something that you can learn overnight. You need to invest time, money, and effort in order to get a grip of your camera and start taking pictures. Photography isn’t about pointing the camera at someone or something and then shoot. It’s about looking for an interesting subject with the perfect background, creating a good composition, and creating a message in your photo that you will show to the rest of the world afterward. No one ever wanted to see a travel picture of your fancy bathroom in the hotel that you are staying in or your newly-bought shoes that you used for traveling unless someone asks you to. You need to make sure that you are able to find the most interesting things while you are exploring the place and share it through capturing the moment.

In addition to that, you must have the strong desire to travel and take pictures so that you can start right off in your travel photography journey. There are so many things that you need to learn and so many beautiful places that are waiting for you to visit. Therefore, you need to make sure that you are both physically and mentally prepared for the never-ending journey that awaits you.

In order to further enhance your photography skills, you also need to choose the right camera and upgrade the right gear for you. A non-educated choice can lead you to horrible mistakes and poor quality photos because you wouldn’t able to make the most out of it. Therefore, you need to educate yourself about everything else that you need to know about camera selection and gear upgrade before you decide to go buy one. There are different types of camera for different types of photography.

For instance, if you are going to use it for travel photography you might want to choose a camera that is lightweight and is easy to carry around in order to avoid inconvenience in your trip. Choosing the best lens and filter will also save you a lot of time and space in your backpack. However, on the other hand, if you are going to do wedding photography there is also a specific camera for that.

Always remember that when you are starting out in photography, you wouldn’t be able to leave and travel without investing in extra batteries, memory cards, tripod, lens, and filter. Trust me, it would make a big difference in your photos if you have these gears. Aside from that, you’ll get used to utilizing these gears properly in order to make sure that you will come up with great photos.

Sustaining your passion for travel photography is great, but you have to make it the right way so that you will be able to make the most out of it. Whether you are planning to make it you career in life, or you’re just taking it as your hobby, take it seriously and the beauty of photography will unravel right before you.

Just like writers, photographers also seek for inspiration and motivations too. There are lots of things that can motivate a photographer to pull out his camera and start shooting. It works differently in different photographers too. It could be an old lady wearing a vintage dress or the African children playing on the street. You just have to find something that will encourage you to show people how beautiful the world is through your photos. All you need to do is to fuel yourself with desire and passion in photography and everything will fall into pieces.
