A collection of beautiful art.
Sausageman, poor guy...
Today we finally had the time to go looking for a new dining table. We didn't have to go very far; we found it in a second hand shop at Mariaplan and walked home with it. It is just perfect. We're both pretty tired of this hysterical wallpaper so we're going to paint over it & the other light baby-gray walls soon with a warmer white :)
Outside our balcony.
Last Monday we caught a plane to Skiathos, a Greek island. From there we took a boat to Skopelos, a truly wonderful and beautiful island with the greatest Greek food we've ever had.
Walking around in the alleys of Skopelos, these pictures are from the old part, Kastro.
It's been a great vacation and I'll post more pictures later.
A list of what to pack is needed when having a confused brain.
Important stuff: Passports and books. See you in a week :)
Today is sunny and warm.
I'm off to a school party starting early ending late. To celebrate that school's actually over soon and that the master's students' exhibition started today.
Pictures taken in and from a window in the apartment where we had our happy exhibition. Gothenburg is a rainy city right now.
It's been some quite hectic days and now the exhibition is over, moving to Stockholm next week. It feels kind of empty with no more school work to be done, but so well needed. I'm not going to Stockholm though, I'm going someplace else instead. To rest.
I'm about to jump into my purple dress & silver stockings and go to my class' exhibition and socialize a little. Mr J is exhibitioning his toys (to the left) and the other pink and sweet character is made by David in my class.
I've finished my last things for master's level (in a month I will know whether they want me or not... I'm pretty nervous).
Exhibition soon!
Mr J is putting up posters. His foot looks weird. Vilmas bake my new addiction, Tre Frön Knäckesticks.
Jen Stark makes the loveliest things (via
Oh Joy!).
A mountain of unfinished buttcrack characters and a mountain of food.
Olydig - cute bags etc
This is what I've been up to the last couple of days. Next week I will exhibit the book together with my classmates and their projects. Will be great!
Some inspiration:
Sketching and a confession: I love that collie puzzle... It's my addiction.
Illustration for a short story about a funeral.
Happy weekend!
Look at all that green, I can't believe it! It looks like Summer. I've been drawing on t-shirts for my babies.
My hair is way too long now, Mr J is going to cut it tonight. He just came home with truckloads of vegetables so excited; our vegetable- & fruitshop is going to have an asparagusparty this weekend! Yummy!
My Clarks Desert Boots have been at my service for seven years now, thought it was time to buy a new pair. The old ones are so beautiful and hopefully the new ones will be beautiful soon as well. Good news: I've started to crochet again, this is Mini Mr Robbed (some bastards robbed him the other night when he was walking home from a party wearing his expensive designer suit). I'll put him up on Etsy as soon as I can connect to their website.
Sunday breakfast.
New 2007 pocketcalendars (bookmarks) for the lovely bookshop Vänder sig om.
I love sitting on the floor while working, this is my small portfolio which I've been working on today. I've been like a small factory cutting all the paper and making the pocketcalendars.
Pizza and beer in the grass. Perfect after a day of clearing up the basement.
Walking through the allotment garden every evening before it gets dark. Time to rest.
Coffee with my man, looking at people, mmm...
Yours truly has been shoeshopping. Yesterday the ones to the left and today the ones to the right. Happy feet. And happy weekend to you!
The penguins have a new swimmingpool and seem very happy. We had brunch at Egg & Milk, yummy. Went to see our friends who served us some milkshake.
We went to a limestone quarry, a spooky place.
My hairy brother in law. |
