Walking Saturday March/31/2007 After breakfast Mr J and I went out for a walk, all day. Mmm... Bought some shrimps etc for lunch at the harbour. ![]()
Church by Kent Karlsson, I love his church of mirrors.
Gothenburg is so beautiful now. We have been walking to Hisingen, the biggest island of Sweden.
...as I walked to school. It's Spring and it's Friday.
I find dying tulips very beautiful.
Some unfinished spreads from my book, so far...
The mother of the girl in the story.
Good morning Odense. Ud! To Malmö where we had falafel (Malmö is the city of falafel ;)) In Lund there's a church from the 12th century which is very beautiful. The lady in the ladies room in Lund. The hotel floors were great.
Bye bye Lübeck! (Charming pictures ;))
Lübeck was so sweet. Went to Kiel on small roads this day and via Flensburg to Odense (Denmark), another city of Marzipan.
Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen.
I love the Lars Von Trier-series Riget (The Kingdom) (which takes place in this building) so much and the since the last time I watched it Mr J & I have been talking fake-Danish. This turned out to be a great thing - for the first time I understood what the Danish people said.
Wir fahr'n fahr'n fahr'n auf der Autobahn. It was hard not to turn right to Berlin.
Spent some hours in Hamburg, which was a huge city. This house was in a suburb somewhere in the Lübeck direction. Lübeck (the city of Marzipan) was so very sweet. Hmm... I really didn't take many pictures on this trip. Had so much fun that I forgot!
I love roadtrips and on Wednesday we sat on the couch and had lunch. Both Mr J and I were so tired of our projects and needed some distance and came up with the idea to go to Germany. Two hours later we sat in a rented car going down to Malmö where we had some dinner at a very nice café with beautiful floor.
After dinner we checked in at a hotel in Copenhagen and went for a walk in the night looking at empty streets. It was so sweet. That city is so beautiful, they care so much about the details. I love it. Don't have any pictures though, was busy looking at all the pretty houses.
My foggy neighbourhood.
The girl is sad. I'm pretty happy. How are you?
I don't have many things in the colour blue. In the picture above you can see all the things I could find in my kitchen.
My friend Lisa is here today. She sits on everything I'm doing, so I guess I'll have to throw her out soon to be able to get some work done ;) She loves tulips.
Saturday morning is a perfect morning to take a slow walk down to Röda Sten to wake up and be able to start the day in a great way. I also took a picture of this on my way down.
This is going to be such a lovely and lazy sweet night, I'm going to lie in my bed reading all night... Have a wonderful Friday night!
The foggy park this morning & my mug of tea after the walk in the park.
This seal waved at me this morning! So sweet.
Some of today's work A beautiful bookcover Mr J is making jalapeño poppers and we have a new cooker, the old one is meeting its family outdoors.
Working at home is great - it's always close to the fridge ;)
I crochet while thinking. It's only the fun part of my last project left, which feels so good. Today I made this little plumber, Mini Mr A. He's pretty much like my old character, but he's got arms and a pointy hat.
I cut Mr J's hair and he cut mine. Except from that we have had a wonderful weekend, with dinner at friends', party at school and today we've been walking for five hours. Feet are hurting in a fabulous way. Have had some great food, Mr J made me a so tasty risotto yesterday and today we had pizza in my old (really old) neighbourhood. It's been sunny, you could even feel the warmth from it and almost no wind. It feels like Spring!!
Aaaah Friday. I'll be back :)
I like to walk around in the city looking at buildings, I can't get enough. Today it's been raining (please don't stop, I'd love the snow to disappear) and I've been walking around to get some inspiration instead of being home waiting for the inspiration to fall over me.
